How to install the new CyanogenMod Android 4.4.4 KitKat CM11 M9 custom ROM on Xperia Z Ultra device?

  1. Download the CM11 M9 Custom ROM Android 4.4 KitKat firmware file from this link.
  2. Now download and install the USB Driver.
  3. Connect your Sony Xperia device to your systems using the USB Cable.
  4. Copy and Paste the downloaded Android 4.4.4 KitKat CM11 M9 custom ROM zip file to your sd card on the root folder.
  5. Make sure that your device has a root access, and an installed custom recovery image, such as CWM or TWRP recovery.
  6. Switch off your Sony Device and disconnect it from the PC, boot the device to Recovery Mode.
  7. Press the Volume Up, Power Button and Home together.
  8. Once the device successfully enters the Recovery Mode, clear your device memory by selecting ’Wipe data/Factory reset’.

  14. Now press Enter. This will start the flashing process. Follow the same  process for installing the Google apps.
  15. Once the installation process is complete, navigate to ‘+++++Go Back+++++’ and choose reboot system.
  16. Now, the device is successfully flashed with the new CyanogenMod Android v4.4.4 KitKat CM11 M9 custom ROM.
