Sony has released an important update for the Movies app, which goes from build version 5.3.A.0.20 to version 6.2.A.0.8. New highlights add a revised user experience, empowering users to swipe right to draw up a menu and the capability to pinch/zoom icons. There comes also with enhanced player control, the pinch gestures can be applied for zooming in/out likewise as searching scenes.

Another application that received a significant update is the Video Unlimited app pushing it to version 11.0.B.0.4. Enhancements have been done to screen layouts, likeTV show listings.
There are users saying that they received the update, but they cannot access the content.
