LG Optimus G Pro Android 4.4.2 KitKat Update Now Rolling out In India

Android 4.4.2 for LG Optimus Pro

The new Android 4.4.2 is now pushed out for more mobile phone users. Early this week, one of the most popular Android Based devices, LG Optimus G Pro E988 device now receive the new Android 4.4.2 Kit-Kat update in India.

As you can see that the LG Company is actually rolling the new update for its users in Asia, Indonesia and now in India, that’s means the new update is expected to be released worldwide.
The new firmware is expected to come as an Over the Air update, and it should to be available for download and install in a matter of days this month.

According to the AndroidOS website the new update comes with 684 MB in size and that’s means you need a stable Wi-Fi network connection in order to download it.
As usual, the new update will be released in phases and the LG Optimus G Pro E988 devices’ owners will be available to receive an automatically notification on the device’s notification area, but they will be able to manually check for the new update by navigating to Settings>About Phone> Software Update path.

Unfortunately, LG has not provided an official change log for the new update, but users should expect from this update to bring a refreshed UI, support for wireless printing, enhanced status and navigation bars, updates for the messaging application, updated Hangouts app, new downloads app, battery life improvements, and more.
