New Android 4.4.2 OTA Software Update For AT&T LG G Flex Now Available

LG G Flex

A new Android 4.4.2 OTA software update is now available for AT&T LG G Flex (D950) smartphone.

The new software is version D95020f, and in order to be able to update your LG G Flex smartphone to it, you will need to have your device updated to one of the last 3 updates from the AT&T carrier.

After the update, your AT&T LG G Flex device will receive the latest Android security patches, LG Music Player update, compatibility updates for G Watch and APN update, as well as some fixes and small tweaks that will improve the overall performance of the Android 4.4.2 KitKat on your LG G Flex smartphone.

The new Android 4.4.2 OTA update is intended only for devices running under stock Android software, so if you have flashed a custom ROM on your G Flex device, then you should know that this update is not supported.

Before installing this new Android 4.4.2 update you should charge your device’s battery, and although no word from AT&T on how big this software update for LG G Flex is, the carrier suggests you to use a Wi-Fi network before starting the download.

Note that once your LG G Flex smartphone is ready to receive the new Android 4.4.2 update you should receive an update notification, you just need to tap on it in order to be able to download and install it.

The roll out is made in stages, so not all AT&T LG G Flex users will get the update at once but all should get it by the end of next week.

Additionally you can manually check for the update under Settings -> General tab -> About phone -> Software update -> Update now.
