Official Android 4.4.2 KitKat OTA Update Now Available For Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo In India

Users of Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo SM-N750 in India started to receive via OTA the official Android 4.4.2 KitKat update on their smartphones.

So if you own this device you should soon receive an automatic system update message on your notification panel.
Launched with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean on board in February this year, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo smartphone will now receive the Android 4.4.2 that brings all the KitKat goodies with it.

According to an XDA developer forum member, once you will download and install the new Android 4.4.2 on your device you will notice in the lock screen camera shortcut, white status bar icons, album art while playing music and changed drawer icons. Besides these mentioned changes, Android 4.4.2 update will add updated Samsung native apps, color emoji support, new Location menu, bug fixes and more.

The update is listed with the build number N750XXUCNG6 and is pushed out over-the-air in stages to Galaxy Note 3 Neo devices in India, so, once your device is ready to receive it you will be prompted by the device’s system with an update message in the notification bar.

Alternatively you can check manually for the Android 4.4.2 update under Settings-> About Phone-> Software Update or through Samsung Kies by connecting the device to a PC using the USB cable.

Note that the official Android 4.4.2 KitKat update is intended only for Samsung Galaxy Note 3 devices running under stock OS. If you run under a custom ROM, to update your device to the KitKat check our step by step guide here.
