Samsung Galaxy Mega 2 appeared lately at the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), the US certification, with some features unveiled which mean that is taking shape as a reality. This suggests that very soon we could see the first leaked images of the future Samsung device.
The model that has appeared at FCC has been the SM-G750A, which is probably the AT&T variant of Galaxy Mega 2. Until now it was thought that this model number corresponded with a new version of the Galaxy S5 but as we have seen in the FCC, it is the next Samsung Galaxy Mega 2, because the dimensions of the terminal are 164.4 x 85 mm, the screen would be around 5.9 inches(smaller than the Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 device but larger than Galaxy S5).
Regarding the features of the device, Samsung opted for a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 that would come with 64-bit architecture, adapting to the new generation of processors and course, the next version of Android.
Moreover, the screen would have a 1280 x 720 pixels resolution and would be accompanied by 2 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal memory.
The terminal will come with LTE support and connectivity features like Wi-Fi and NFC, will highlights a 12-megapixel rear camera and will run Android OS 4.4.2 KitKat. The Samsung Galaxy Mega 2 position itself as one of the best terminals in the upper-midrange segment of the phablets.
Receiving FCC certification suggests that the Samsung Galaxy Mega 2 may be ready to hit the market shortly, but no details are currently available as to when the device will, in fact, make its official appearance.
