Songza, the free music streaming service on Android is one of the applications that would require a review of the design, especially after added support for Chromecast and established a number of bugs. People expect from the application an experience similar to that of the age in which we live to work with platforms like Ice Cream Sandwich, Jelly Bean or KitKat.
Most applications similar to Songza such as Deezer, Spotify and Pandora have changed with the introduction of design update for Android 4.1 and beyond, choosing the menu to be in the left side as a list.
Now Songza is about to get a similar review, also bringing more color, larger touch targets, shaped menu list we talked about, a better use of top Action Bar.
This application used by a large number of Canadians, unlike other apps, chose to go with Android first.
Updated Songza application for Android is currently in open alpha yet having some performance issues as it is.
To enter Songza Android alpha test, you must send an email to songza -for- android- alpha – testers + [email protected] then you receive a response from the approval team. After that follow the same steps as for another alfa or beta applications from Google, and download the APK from Play Store.
