Swipe Sense Launched At Rs. 9,999 With Android 4.4.2 KitKat And Fingerprint Reader

Swipe has launched a new smartphone with built in fingerprint reader, named the Sense and intended for the budget segment at a price of Rs. 9,999 to be the first smartphone to come with this feature in its category.

The fingerprint reader is located on the Swipe Sense at the rear panel, below the main camera and is a feature that increase the security of the device and that, until now, it was seen only on high-end devices like Samsung Galaxy S5 or Apple iPhone 5S. Moreover, the Sense’s fingerprint feature can be used on all fingers of your hand if you assign a different task to launch for every finger.

Apart from the 2250mAh battery from inside, Swipe offers at the Rs. 9,999 price the Sense smartphone with an additional 2250mAh battery in the box.

The Swipe Sense offers dual-SIM support and comes with a 5.5″ qHD IPS display with a resolution of 540×960 pixels, and it is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM, alongside with 8GB internal storage expandable up to 32GB via microSD card.

The new Swipe Sense runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat out-of-the-box and is equipped with an 8MP rear camera with LED flash and 3.2MP front-facing camera.

In terms of connectivity, the device offers support for dual-SIM card slots, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS and GPRS/ EDGE.

The new Sense smartphone measures 78.2x155x7.8mm, weighs 158 grams and is available in black colour.
