A new version of Twitter for Android is now available for download for all Android users who want to have the latest applications version in their mobiles. The new application is named Twitter 4.1.8 version, and it comes to fix some crashing bugs and to add a new notification feature.
The main idea of this feature is to receive new notification that recommends interesting accounts and Tweets on your Twitter account. With this new feature, you’ll be available to find interesting Twitter accounts and Tweets followed by other users. In additional, you’ll receive personalized recommendations with the most followed Twitter accounts by your friends and also with the most favorite or retweet tweets.
According to our source, the official Twitter blog the new feature is built based on an experimental account, @MagicRecs where the Twitter developers’ team put as its bio “sends instant, personalized recommendations for users and content via direct message.
Over time, the developers have been optimized the algorithms, based on engagement and the users feedback in order to obtain and send only the most relevant updates. After the Twitter’s team receives great feedback they share this functionality to more users. So, the Android and iOS users will receive recommendations via a push notification thanks to this latest Twitter version.
In additional, from the notification settings the users can change their settings at any time, the users can turn off it with the “Recommendations” toggle and put it on again, as they wish.
