The new Android 4.4.2 KitKat update for Wi-Fi version of Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) has been launched in April this year and now the Samsung Company has released the same update for the LTE version of the device with the model number SM-P605. This new update has the build number P605XXUCNE2 and is rolled out for users in Nordic Countries

(Denmark,Finland). It comes with new features and improvements such as faster performances, white status bar icons, full screen album art, wireless printing support, new camera shortcut on the lock screen, improved sound controls for specific Samsung applications and general stability enhancements.

  • Take the proper data backup with Helium application in Google Playstore.

  • The Note 10.1 device should be factory unlocked and not locked to any particular mobile carrier.
  • The device, after installing the official software will lose all custom ROM, kernels or any custom configuration. Also, the custom recovery image will be replaced by a stock version of image.

How To Intsall The P605XXUCNE2 Android 4.4.2 Kitkat On Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition LTE:

  1. Download the Android 4.4.2 KitKat P605XXUCNE2 (click here).
  2. Download the Odin v3.09.
  3. Extract the downloaded firmware file to get a .tar.md5 file with other supplementary files.
  4. Now, extract the ODIN application to obtain the ODIN3 v.3.09.exe file and a few other files.
  5. Power off the Samsung Galaxy Note device.
  6. Boot the Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet into Download Mode (Press and keep holding the Home, Power and Volume Down buttons together).
  7. Now, open the ODIN application such as Administrator on the PC.
  8. Next, by using the USB cable connect the Samsung Galaxy Note device when it’s in Download Mode.
  9. Wait ODIN to recognize the Note 10.1 device and to turn light blue with COM port number and ID:COM box
  10. In ODIN User Interface, click AP button, browse and select the firmware file with.tar.md5 extension.
  11. From the ODIN application, enable the Auto Reboot and F.Reset Time checkboxes and ensure that the Re-Partition checkbox isn’t checked.
  12. Verify once again that everything is ok.
  13. Click on Start button on ODIN application.
  14. The installation process should start and it will take a few minutes to complete.
  15. When the flashing process is done, the device will take an automatically restart.
  16. Once on the device’s display the home screen appears, you can disconnect the device from the PC.
