  • The Samsung Galaxy I9100G has to be rooted and so the device must have a custom Recovery image. In this guide, we will use the CWM Recovery image, but you can use TWRP or other.
  • Back-up all your data stored in your device’ internal memory, but first of all you need to make a full NANDROID back-up of your actual ROM that you are currently running in your device. This back-up file will be a restore point if something doesn’t work well, or you don’t like it much, this custom ROM.
  • During the installation guide,  you’ll be ask to wipe your data and the factory reset for the smartphone, after you do this action you’ll lose the data that you have stored on the device’ internal memory. To be sure, you won’t lose any critical data, make a back-up of all information.
  • Save your SMS, using the SMS back-up and restore app. For saving you APN Settings you can use the APN Settings Back-up and Restore app, for back-up the call logs that you’ve stored on your device you can use the Call Logs back-up and restore app, for making a back-up of your contacts you can synchronize all the contacts with your Google account.
  • The data stored on the internal or external memory card will not be erased or touched by the flashing process.
  • You need to enable the USB debugging option to make possible connections between your device and the PC. This option can be enabled from the Android Developed Options.
  • Verify the level of the device’ battery. There must be enough power in it to perform the rooting process otherwise the device may face a forced shutdown in the middle.
  • This article and all information from the same are only for instructional and educational purposes. So, don’t use this guide if you don’t have enough experience with the flashing process or you aren’t advanced Android users. We can’t be blamed or hold liable if you decide to apply this guide on your device and you lose data or you damage your device.
