An update for users of the Verizon’s HTC Droid DNA coming starting 24 this month was announced via twitter by the HTC product manager Mo Versi. The update carries Android 4.4.2 KitKat and Sense 5.5. It was promised for the end of March but was delayed.

Launched in 2012 the device with a 5-inch screen coming out of the box with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS was later updated to Android 4.2.
With a 16GB internal memory, 8-megapixel front camera, focal length 28 mm and BSI sensor, and a weight of just 140g, Droid DNA is powered by a quad-core 1.5 GHz.
HTC Droid DNA has a Super LCD 3, resolution 1920 x 1080 pixel with density of 440 ppi. Front camera is 2.1 MP resolution and an opening angle of 88 degrees. Both cameras have f/2.0 aperture and 1080p video recording.
Users can expect from the Android 4.4.2 KitKat update to an enhanced experience, improved HTC Blinkfeed, social aggregation tool and interface changes.

This update will be made over the air by Verizon, and probably will occur in phases to users. When the device can receive the update will be announced by a message in the notification area. All you should do is follow the instructions on the screen, plus you can manually check for updates in Settings -> About phone -> System updates -> Check for updates.
You need to make sure your battery is completely charged, and you are getting a strong Verizon Wireless or Wi-Fi signal before starting your software update.
