Today is the day when officially begin the World Cup in Brazil and Sony gets it ready by posting on the Play Store the official Xperia Themes dedicated to the biggest football event of the year (it was already leaked during the past month).
As you may know, Sony is one of the principal sponsors of the FIFA Brazil World Cup this year, and in order to celebrate, this event had released a dedicated Xperia Theme.
The ones that bought a Sony Xperia smartphone in the last time they notice an FIFA World Cup Brasil logo on their handsets.
Green is the predominant color of the theme, of course, alluding to the soccer fields and even the color of the national team at home, Brazil.
The download is free but, of course, if you want to download it you need to have a Xperia smartphone with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean or 4.4 KitKat.
Sony, besides providing Xperia devices users a way to theme their handsets in the colors of the 2014 FIFA World Cup, they are also holding a Football provocation competition from within the Xperia Lounge app that can be downloaded from the Google Play Store, that promises some exciting prizes, and they will select the top 100 recruits and give them a prize.
The first 10 entrants selected will get a Sony Xperia Z2 in their prize package along with a few other items, and the grand winner will get besides a Sony Xperia Z2, also a Xperia Z2 tablet, a Sony QX100, a Sony PlayStation 4, a Sony SmartBand SRW10 and a VIP travel to Morocco. If you want a chance to win, you need to enter the Xperia Lounge app and predict who is going to win the 2014 FIFA World Cup.
