Android Wear 2.0 Rumored to Come this October 15

Android Wear, the exclusive operating system for smart watches was announced in May, and on early July the first smart watch that experienced the new Google’s platform was LG G Watch.

This first version of Android Wear brought us many features like notifications, personalization with “watch faces,” music and voice control and more. Yet, users need many other features so Android Wear will need to evolve.

According to Android Police, Google could launch the version “2.0” of Android Wear for October 15 as an OTA update.

Rumors stemmed from a CNET interview with the engineering representatives of Android Wear, Mr. David Singleton and VP Hiroshi Lockheimer, when they mentioned that Android Wear is about to be even smarter, referring to a future update with new additions.

These new changes are expected to integrate GPS, Bluetooth headphone support, and bug fixes among other functionalities.

None of this is fully confirmed but according to these rumors and several others Google will provide many new features for the Android Wear platform before the end of this year.
