Google has started rolling out the latest stable version of Chrome for Android, build number 37.
The new update of Chrome will bring important changes for the browser with the Material Design interface as the main feature.
For those of you that are unfamiliar we should say that, Material Design was introduced back in June this year, during the Google I/O developer conference, and it is a new look that will roll out to most of Google’s apps and services. Material Design introduces new design elements that will be seen in all its fullness in the new version of Android L this fall.
The beta version of Chrome for Android already received this update and its improvements, so now is the time for users that want the stable version to enjoy an even better browser on their Android devices.
Version 37 of Chrome brings besides this exquisite design, a new “incognito” tab, a simpler way to sign in and how could it be otherwise, lots of bug fixes and minor improvements for the overall performance of the app.
You can download the APK of Chrome for Android signed by Google from here, and install it just like any other APK and update your existing app or you can just wait for the stable version to hit the Play Store and download it from there, but as always the update varies by region and could take a few hours or a day.
Chrome app requires Android 4.0 and up.
