Moreover, Google Camera app version 2.2 gives users the choice to snap pictures in 16:9 ratio, besides from the 4:3 ratio. The camera app update also brings a new timer mode with 3 and 10 seconds option and a new cropping choice screen.
The application’s users can now quickly access the camera settings option through a new settings button present on Google Camera v2.2 app, reached by swiping from left for turning the camera shooting mode.

You can download the Google Camera application version 2.2 from Play Store or you can download the apk signed by Google from here or here.
The Google Camera application for Android devices was published back in April and highlights the Lens Blur mode that confers SLR-like pictures with shallow depth of field.

The Lens Blur mode in the Google Camera app outlines the subject and blurs the landscape with shallow depth of field. The other features founded in the first version, and that are also in the new one include the UI with large capture button and 100% viewfinder and advanced Panorama and Photo Sphere that can create 360 degree views.

The Google Camera app v2.2.024 is just 15 MB in size and the required version of Android varies on the device.
