HTC One E8 Now Available at US Sprint for $99.99 On Contract

The HTC company announced the One E8, the cheaper version of the One M8 flagship starting June for certain markets, and after was rumored about the device’s landing at Sprint, now the carrier has announced that the HTC One E8 smartphone is available for purchase on its website.

The plastic brother of the One M8 is available in polar white and misty gray with silver accents color options Sprint’s blog post revealed.

The price for One E8 varies based on what method you choose, if you prefer a two-year contract way, it will set you back $99.99, using Sprint’s Easy Pay installment plan, you will not need to pay anything at first, then the plan includes 23 monthly payments of $20.84 and the final 24th payment of $20.67. If you prefer to pay the off-contract price, the device will set you back $499.

The HTC One E8 is very similar to the HTC One M8, but with a few differences that make this device much more affordable.

The HTC One E8 comes with a 5″ 1080p Super LCD3 touchscreen, it is powered by a 2.3 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor coupled with 2GB of RAM, 16GB internal storage, expandable up to 128 GB via microSD card and it is dynamized by a 2,600 mAh battery. The HTC E8 sports as you can see the same processor, the same 2 GB of RAM, and the same battery as well as the identical display as its more expensive brother.

The differences between the two devices are at the external part: one of the most evident difference is the body, the E8 has a plastic one, and the M8 has a metal body, aspect that makes the phone a little cheaper, but the E8 still has a premium look.

Another difference is the rear-facing camera: the One E8 comes with a single 13-megapixel camera while on the HTC One M8 we find a twin-sensor 4-megapixel Duo Camera.

Other features for HTC One E8 includes 5MP front-facing camera, Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS, and HTC Sense 6.0 UI.
