HTC One Mini Release Date set for August, officially Announced

Release date officially anounced

Numerous rumors are saying over the past couple of weeks that the HTC company will launch a great mid-range phone device dubbed HTC One Mini. The HTC One Mini device is expected to have a similar device with its big brother HTC One flagship.

Now, some of the rumors were confirmed, and the HTC One Mini device has been officially announced.

That means the Taiwan-based phone maker will enter with this device in the big players of smartphone market which release powerful mid-range smartphones, as you probably know that the Samsung officially launched the Galaxy S4 Mini device no long time ago and now is the turn of the HTC come with a Mini version of ONE flagship. According other rumors more companies will introduce these kinds of devices and here I want to mention Sony, ZTE, Huawei Companies.

As rumors have suspected from the beginning, HTC One Mini will hold a design similar with HTC One, it will come with a unibody aluminium case, and an interesting front-facing stereo speakers with HTC BoomSound integrated technology on its features.

On specs terms,  HTC One Mini device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 SoC and a 1.4 GHz two Krait 300 cores CPU. Its graphic capabilities will be provided by an Adreno 305 GPU board.

Memory that it holds is a standard 1 GB of RAM, and its internal storage capacity is 16 GB, but without a MicroSD card slot for an extended memory possibility.

A big surprise is that, since the HTC One Mini is on the mid-range segment, it comes with a 4.3-inch Super LCD2 display that supports 720p resolution. The HTC One Mini flagship, also it comes with  4 megapixel camera with UltraPixel sensor that integrate the BSO and 1/3” sensor side, this camera is similar with the HTC One’s camera sensor, but the HTC Mini One device won’t have the optimal image stabilization feature.

As numerous rumors said, Mini One device from HTC comes with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS out of the box and with the HTC’s Sense 5 UI with BlinkFeed, Beats Audio and Zoe features included. Here, in the HTC One Mini features I want to say that it will be capable to record 1080p video resolution; also it will have slow-motion video capture feature and the possibility to share via HTC Zoe.

On the front it will have a HD camera that supports 1.6 megapixel with BSI sensor integrated, this camera will be perfect for video calling and video business meetings.

Regarding its design size, the HTC One Mini has 132 mm tall, 9.3 mm thin and 63.2 mm wide and all its weights are only 122 grams with its Li-Polymer 1,800 mAh battery included. The battery has the capability to support 13 hours of 3G talk-time. So, all these dimensions make it a highly compact device.

As connectivity,  the HTC One Mine will come with Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, dual band, LTE, HSAP+, Bluetooth 4.0, MicroUSB 2.0, GPS module, compass, and accelerometer.

According  to Taiwan-based phone maker the release date for HTC One Mini device will be in August when it will hit the markets for the first time and in September will be available for almost all markets.

HTC One Mini flagship will be available in two body colors: Black and Grey and its price tag is expected to be around  €450 (about $592).
