How to install Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow Official Update for Galaxy A5 Korea A500F1

  • Use the Odin app to install Android 6.0.1 official update
  • New update can be flashed over rooted firmware too. For that, install the root access.

The installation process

  1. Download the Android 6.0.1 A500F1U1CPH2 firmware

  3. Download Odin 3.10.7; unzip the same
  4. Turn off the device
  5. Now, boot in Download Mode
  6. Run Odin.exe on your PC

  13. Delink your device from the PC when optimizing apps” screen appears on your device’ screen
