A new version of the SwiftKey app for Android is now available for download for all users of Android tablets or smartphones. The latest update is called version 4.2.1
The new update comes to fix some issues that its previous version has and the users claimed on the official SwiftKey forum when they have used the old version.
So, with this new update users can use the Backup and Sync feature without keep the device awake or to drain the battery.
Furthermore, the new SwiftKey 4.2.1 app comes to solve some of the crashes situation existent in the previous version of SwiftKey called 4.2.
In additional, the new iteration brings with reduced network usage capability when trending phrases option is turned on. Also, it comes with the new display mode for the predictions. The predictions in right-to-left languages now will be displayed in the right way round.
Moreover, the new release fixed Evernote return key issues, fixed a number of crashed as flowing two words together quickly, repeatedly pressing “update languages “button, and others.
With the new version the Spanish punctuation is now available on QWERTY mode layout, this if the Spanish language is on and also the application fixed some translations within it.
Finally but not least there the new iteration comes with restored “^” as m-key secondary in Azerty layout keyboard.
The new application is now available for download as a free automatically update for those who have already purchased the app. If you didn’t receive it then go to the Google Play Store app on your device and there tap the My Apps button to download and install the newest update for the application.
